- Know they are getting the most from all their technology-related vendors; and

When our clients experience a glitch in their computer systems, we can help. By designating Expetec as their service/help desk, we allow our clients to:

HaaS/Hardware as a Service:
The “Hardware as a Service” (HaaS) model is a complete, “all you can eat" IT managed services solution, including hardware, provided at a flat monthly fee to our clients. Clients will receive a complete changeover to state-of-the-art hardware every 30-40 months at a negotiated flat contract rate which includes data migration, data backup and security, and unlimited service/help desk support. Since Expetec retains ownership of the equipment, clients experience significant tax advantages in addition to predictable technology costs. Delivering and implementing the HaaS experience is really the essence of Expetec and the future of business technology services.

Mechanics of HaaS:
- Contracts are written for 3 years and then renewed after 3 years.
- One monthly cost for “all you can eat” IT service.
- IT infrastructure is upgraded to meet minimum requirements to use this HaaS service, and monthly cost includes the infrastructure upgrade.
- Clients get a web portal to create trouble tickets, and they can track their own ticket progress.
- When clients sign up for HaaS, service reports are generated and reviewed with the client every month for the first three (3) months, then changed to quarterly after that.
- All client support is handled remotely unless the problem makes that impossible.
- Desktop computers are replaced every 30 months, and servers are replaced every 40 months regardless of computer condition. Applications and data are transferred to the new units.
- The used computers are refurbished and resold from our shop.
- All client vendor management is supported by Expetec as part of the service.
- Since the client does not own the equipment, the entire service is a write-off on taxes.
